Excellent batch of screen shots Kazan. Nicely taken.

I still think the default brightness on the shinemaps is too high but then nobody has applied a complete shinemap set for all the FS2 vessels nor the TBP vessels so I'm not sold on anything quite yet

Shinemapping needs tweaking, ships have areas where it almost looks like it's missing textures or is too bright.
And new flight model is useless because you can't use reticle to target properly, otherwise it could be quite a fun alternative to default cockipt view.

Yes you can...the reticle works fairly well despite the changed perspective. You adjust very quickly.

Whenever I tried to hit my target by using the reticle, it missed, weapons didn't even go near the reticle, much lower actually. Well it doesn't really matter since I doubt I will ever actually use fs2_open.

Good to hear that Mr. Fury.

As much as i love the new effects and gameplay possibilities, scp builds always crash for me after a while.

Those Screenies look fantastic.
I wonder how great that effects look on the rotating-section of an Omega?

I`m really impressed by the improvements done with FS2..

And yes it may have a few bugs, but that can be fixed.

That what the coders are working on now, squashing bugs..
