FRED Object Limitations?????
I've been making a mission and it seems that whenever I try to add Object #94 to the mission, Fred crashes. Is there a limit to the number of objects? I hadn't heard of one before now. But it's crashed every time I've tried it.
Yes. You could try FS2_open it has higher limits.

Well, it's alright for the moment. I managed to work around the limitation. The mission just wont be as long as I wanted it to be
Unless there's an open for FRED which makes missions that are still compatible with FS2 standard?? Or is there not much compatibility???
For compatibility you best stay with standard Fred

You'll probably find ways to reduce the number of ships in your mission. You can use waves to reduce the number of fighter wings you need, and avoiding Battle of Endor Syndrome is always good advice. (Having more than five capital ships in the area at once is often unneccesary.) Use your judgement.
