horrible question to ask

I know it has only been a few months since R2 was released but could we see some pictures of the new centauri ships or the warlock or maybe babylon 4 and babylon 5. I apologize for the being so insulent. Icefire, have you talked to or heard about any plans to work with the many turreting woes incarnate in freespace 2.

Not many pics to show...the only progress that I've seen has been from Xaphod with the B4 texturing work and I've got the textures on the Drazi Sky Serpent and Centauri Brezebel that are not quite ready for the public yet (but soon). Thats about it. Usually after a major release, people go back to their normal lives for a bit.

We get pretty excited when something gets done and you guys hear all about it. You all usually see it probably five minutes after I do

What turreting woes?

The whole things with the turrets being in the upright or down positions in order to track correctly(cough cough NOVA cough cough) . Wasn't there also talk about multiple barrel turrets.

That's a limitation of the Freespace engine itself (or is it somthing in the .pof model format?). I heard somewhere that they might try to do fix it in TBP_Open, but then again I might be wrong.

I hope this question isn't too irritating but I am curious, does this mean that work on the 2.1 patch isn't being done and you are going to leave it for some later time? Don't think me ungrateful for all you've done up to this point, you guys have exceeded any expectations for a TC I could ever have but honestly I haven't even installed FS2 or 2.0 because of the bugs and I am waiting for the patch to come out.

On a completely separate note...once 2.1 does come out, will it be compatible with the fan made ITB campaign? And any of the older single missions that had been released before?

Thanks.
