found problem with Vorchan
Have been haveing crashes to desktop when I would use the CR Vorchan in mission and I think i`ve found the problem
In fred it shows the vorchan with CR Oltus misile banks, ok seen no problem there but when I opened PCS and viewed the vorchan it had all laser turrets and no missile banks..
I`m no modeler and am not on any campaign, but it makes sence that this is causeing my crashes.. Just thought i`d bring it up since no one else has posted this problem...
Has anyone else experenced this glitch, if so please post..
And I still think this mod is awsome.. Live long Babylon Project..
Thank you, Whitelight..
Laser banks/missile banks. Same thing.

PBanks= laser turret
SBanks =missle turret
I`m confused here
It doesn't quite frankly matter what the POF says the turret type is. Why that even exists I have no idea...it may have been for organizational reasons but a POF defined missile turret can be a laser weapon and vice versa.
PBanks and SBanks are table defined only...so whatever is defined in the table to the corresponding turret is what it is.
Since this occurs in five bazillion MODs as well as on FS1 and FS2 spacecraft from Volition...the possibility of this (the laser defined POF turrets being used as missile launchers) being a crash problem are somewhere between 0 and negative ten thousand. Whatever crash problems are probably mesh related OR unrelated entirely. There is an updated POF of the Vorchan on the way although from what I know it has no crash bug fixes...the Vorchan was actually one of those ships that we had almost no trouble with at all. It works as it was supposed to...except for the turrets accuracy which will be fixed when we use Source Code and they support volley fire turrets.

Thank you Ice for taking the time to expain my confusion in such detail, this has helped to clear the air of my mis-conseptions of the ships table entries...
Thanks again..
I have another question to the Vorchan.
You set the forward cannons on the "underside" (hope this is the correct word), but in the show they were on the upper side.
Or is this just an error with the subsystem targeting?
You mean the main pulse weapon on the Vorchan. No, they are in the right place. Every time we see them on the show, they tend to angle their targets just a few degrees below their nose (seen in Season 2 & 5).

I remember seeing them in both places. Which would make sense. Able to engage targets with heavy firepower at more angles and bring more to bear on a single target.
Sorry I can't cite an example. Perhaps the attack that Lennier witnesses.
Not that it really matters that much.

For folks who don't know what a twin array is and how powerful it is then just look at the "And Now for a Word" battle with the Primus and the G'Quan or the "Fall of Night" battle with the Primus and Babylon 5. The main Primus guns are indeed twin arrays
