Question Question about a posible campaign?

Would it be possible to make a campaign out of a war with the Belt Allience Vs the Earth Allience?

I only need a crash cource in Modeling at your teams level of skill then it'll be easy lol. One question though, what kind of ships would there be at that time?

I know that I could keep the standard cargo ships, but I need some Ideas on what the warships would look like. I think I could use the Olumps, but I'll need to make stuff up. Any Ideas?

Yup, you'll need to make stuff up.

An easy way would be to ask the team if it's OK to repaint some of their models, and change the weapons around.

I'm thinking that any confrontation between the EA and the Belt Alliance would tend to be rather small scale engagements. Simply because if it was a full on shooting war we'd probably have heard something more about it.

It'll be more like WWI no bombers....... only fighters and no beams because they did not have em at the time.

I'm afraid I don't understand the WWI reference.

What I was talking about was repainting say, a Hyperion and an Olympus, so they wouldn't look as EA, and changing the weapons on them to make them seem completely different from thier EA counterparts.

Ok...look...not to disapoint, but doing high quality models takes time. I've just started to learn the fine art of texturing and that was maybe 3 years of slow progress culminating in my first real attempt. Modeling is still something I can't do. Think small with your campaign, use the current ships and make your campaign. Do as suggested and perhaps change the textures on a Hyperion to give it the impression that its not as well maintained as it should be...

Just don't set yourself up so high that you get frusterated from it. Enjoy what you do.
