How to launch Zephyrs from Raider Carrier?
Hi. First im German so sorry for maybe bad english. Now my Question How can i get a Raider Carrier launch Zephyrs (in Fred2). I ask because i made a mission (my Second) Where the player and another wing should escort an Asimov Starliner. And the Raiders want the cargo from that Asimov so 6 Wings will be Jump in and attack after they are destroyed a Raider Carrier should jump in and launch his Zehp's and then attack the Asimov. The mission works fine to that Point where the Zeph's should be launced. First Problem is the Carrier carries 0 Zeph's. And second Prob is how can i get them to launch the Zeph's? Thanks for help.

Truth is a three edged sword.
Due to two quite major engine limitations (no multiple dockings or dock points on rotating sections) those racks look nice but don't actually work. The docking bay does though!
Ship editor. Location = Docking bay. Target = Raider carrier!

You do have another choice if you are feeling rather brave and the raider carrier is present at the start of the mission.
Manually place the zephyrs on the struts and give the fighter's play dead orders until you want them to launch. Then either make sure that the enemy is in front of them or give them orders to head towards a waypoint a couple of thousend metres away for a few seconds
If you're going to do this it will take you some time so make sure after you've done it you save the mission under a different name so that you have a ship already set up in case you ever need to do it again

make sure that those ships are invulnerable until the attack begins.

After suggesting it I was tempted to try it too. 
If you do decide to it how about releasing the FRED file with just the raider set up so that people have one already set up for raider missions?

I think it's a good idea. the only problem is, ho do the raider stay on the rails? i know i the show they are electro-magnetic or something like that.

As long as the carrier is sitting still that isn't a problem

It's a lot of work to get all the ships in place and rotated correctly. But if done correctly the effect should be fantastic

only on big problem though, how do you keep the rails from smashing them? You could make them invinceable but then they can't be destroyed until they are launched....
