Question Modding sheilds

I was wundering if there is a way to mod shiels directly from the mesh.

Right now I'm not so shore about that. I have several things I am working on, and they need molded shielding. I mean even if it is hard, I would steal like to know.

well, if you know the basick size and shape of a model and you make the mesh (_must_ be made of triangles) and you glue a light to it name it shield and glue it to a dummy object then compile it, you can use a hex editor to copy and past the SHLD chunk from one model to another (or you could try useing Aurora(for the copy past thing))

Hang on a sec. Are you trying to add a shield to an existing .pof or are you trying to add a shield to a model you're building yourself?

If it's the former Bobboau's method should work (although I'd suggest converting the .pof to a .cob and use that as a base so that you get the size right).

or you could use the "Import Button" in POF Constructor Suite - because the shields on has _ALWAYS_ worked, and now they all work
