I wonder how cool it would be if Volition Inc. made a Babylon 5 game using a brand new Engine.
you can shoot off parts of a fighter like in the TV Series
and for example a Vorlon ship fires its cool beams at a big ship and it shoots right through it, it should leave a gaping big hole. 
It is a pity FreeSpace 2 doesn't do that.

I cant really think of a good sig.
But about the holes, that would take down a ship too quickly. Think about it.
Well, i was more leaning towards making the hole through the ship when it reaches 0% hull.
