EA Freighter & FS1 to FS2 port

I just noticed a really funny thing... I was playing the ported FS1 main campaign mission where the player must sanitize a Vasudan cargo depot (the one right before the mission where lt. McCarthy is to be captured), and guess what I saw: an EA freighter there in the middle of otherwise credible-looking FS1 ships !

Target view told the ship class to be PVFr Bast... The reason must be the model: the freighter model is freighter01.pof, right? That's a pretty obvious name, and it seems to have been used in FS1 as well. (The table file refers to a model based on the model name, is that correct ?) The subsystems weren't there where they were supposed to be (only sensors and nav were targetable), but all in all the ship had a "correct" name as well as behaviour...

Perhaps the model name should be changed (of course that requires changes to ships.tbl) or then I must only get used to it, but I'm afraid something like this will pop up later on. Checking all model names may be impossible, but I'd guess no one else would use filenames such as B5freighter01.pof, right ?

you're never suppose to run the base game with any mod files installed

Kazan's right.. you're best of installing mods into their own copy of the data directory and copying them around.
