$%@! Volition, I have to re-activate my account and they call me a newbie. Lamers :P

I have a few questions.

Does anyone know why tiny pyrotechnics go off a split second before the level changes in netgames?

Also, how do I cancel typing a player message?

And how much do I have to "lead for lag" at, say, 100 ms ping? If someone is jogging to my left, how much in front of him do I have to shoot in order to hit him? how many body widths?

Also, why do some sounds get cut off after a game is over?

its killin all the lights in the level.. why i dont know..

with the chat, just delete any thing that has been entered into the chat field and hit enter.. that will not post any msg..

with the lag its just luck some times.. even when i got a 400 ping i can beat peeps for some thing.. and other times when i got 50 they lead..

with the sound i dunno.. maybe because the round is over? :P

for chat i find hitting esc twice is faster

generally i dont lead pple at all and thats with a 300ish ping. But thats just me

i dont think you should worry about your ping. focus on your aim instead, try to hit their heads . i only shoot ahead of people when i lag real bad.
