Let me guess, you were bored?
Yes, at the moment it looks like there will be no new B5 series or a movie.
B5 LoTR pilot movie was just pitiful. That and not enough viewers when the movie aired. Was it a football match airing at same time or what?

Still, anybody know where it can be seen?

I downloaded LOTR.
TBH, I quite enjoyed it, I thought it had a hell of a lot more going for it thatn Crusade, which was a nice idea - dreadful show.
But yeah, it is a shame that by alla ccounts, the B5 universe appears to have run its course as far as TV goes...

Huh? Crusade rocked, and it didn't even get started! The very next episode that was in line for production would have started a bigger plot, but of course 'the evil suits' of TNT killed Crusade. Try watching only the first half of season 1 of B5 but leaving out Signs and Portents from the first 13, and think what kind of impression it would have given. Then compare that to the whole series!
Try watching Crusade in a better order, starting with the episode that was supposed to be the first one... Here's the Lurker's Guide's episode list for Crusade, that "JMS feels that this order is best from a story point of view, even though it means some visual inconsistencies in terms of unexplained costume changes.". Disregard the horrible TNT-ordered opening episode (it's been left last in that list...) and imagine what might have been. I have watched these episodes from time to time - they had much potential, especially after reading what JMS told about what would have happened next... Sigh.

B5 was never a show for the masses.
B5 was superior because it has a continueing storyline but that was also its downfall.
That usually scared or boored casual viewers, since watching a single episode would sometimes left you puzzling what was going on, you missed the "whole" point.
From the storyline though, if you had the patience , B5 was a Masterpiece. Nothing was black or white, there were hundreds of shades of grey in between them, ppl you thought were evil at the beginning of the show, werent so evil later on once you came to know their motives.p
Crusade imho lacked that quality, while it was a nice try, i found the depth to be rather pathetic in direct comparison to B5.

? LoTR? As Lord of the Rings? Or are we talking about some kind of new B5 adventure?
LotR, in B5 world is same as Legend of the Rangers

You would have thought that considering that JMS was already annoyed by people comparing B5 to Lord of the Rings he wouldn't have made that mistake.

When I think of Babylon 5 I want to cry.
Truely. Epic.
I remember the first time I saw G'kar, worried about the Shadows coming.
I remember the technomages
Bester
and the first time we saw Kosh
I remember being in awe when I saw the first whitestar, and then the fleet - the 'weapons supplies'
I remember seeing Centauri prime burn - and Valen for the first time
I remember Sheridan giving a big
to Clark and EA when he declared independance, and I remember Delenn coming to rescue them
I remember the death of Kosh, and how it made me almost cry. I remember seeing the message from Sheridan, and the white star come crashing down. I remember Kosh's voice so clearly "Jump...Jump, now!"
I remember seeing Lorien for the very first time. The mystery, and awe. I remember the giants in the playground, the first ones. I remember Marcus, Garibaldi, and seeing the long road to Earth. I remember seeing the Deconstruction of Falling Stars. I remember the ISA, the day of the dead, a view from the gallery, and the final speeches everyone gave. I remember Byron, and Lyta.
I remember it all. I remember relating on a very personal level with almost all of the characters through their strong and their weak times. I remember. I remember when Babylon 5 was destroyed and I *DID* cry.
There is nothing left of B5 now, other than memories. But now the DVD's are coming, and our memories will be fixated forever onto discs which we can view again and again.
As my name states, in the most noble and true of words:
"And so it begins"

I cried at Susan Ivanova's closing monologue from Sleeping in Light.
"Babylon 5 was the last of the Babylon stations. There would never be another. It changed the future .. and it changed us. It taught us that we have to create the future .. or others will do it for us. It showed us that we have care for one another, because if we don't, who will? And that true strength sometimes comes from the most unlikely places. Mostly, though, I think it gave us hope .. that there can always be new beginnings .. even for people like us.
As for Delenn, for as long as she lived, she got up every morning... to watch the sun come up....."
