Nobody wants to see a computer generated movie.

Err....like Toy Story and Shrek were geared towards kids and had appeal for adults. You really think your ten year old daughter is going to grab your hand and beg you to see Summoner......like she begged to go see FF?!?! You lose a huge chunk of your audience when you make a cartoon (and that is what it is, or at least how people view it) for adults. I myself would be the first person in line to see it. But the fact that 67 people are the most to ever be on this site at one time, might give you a hint as to how a CG Summoner movie would do.

I agree, it would not sell...... The same way the game has not sold, due to lack of marketing thrust.

My point was, which seems to have been missed by some people is that computer generated movies can be popular, but if they are tied into a game title, then, well, it depends on how well known the game is.....

Tombraider = Big success

Mortal Kombat = Big flop

Final Fantasy = Somewhere in between, I think....

Summoner would not even get off the ground.....

why do you say it would not get off the ground do you think it would make a bad film if it was done like the game and not done with cgi

Didn't Square loose a ton of money from FF: TSW?
