Playing without the CDs

I copied the entire contents of my Freespace 2 CDs to my hard drive months ago. Recently I loaned my CDs to my Uncle who wanted an assortment of games to try out for his new computer. I wanted to play FS2 though and installed from my backup files and used a No CD crack. The game plays but won't play any of the movies. That in itself isn't too much of a problem since I finished the campaign, the problem is when I try to play any of the downloadable campaigns. The game won't play them unless CD 2 is inserted.

I have the files from CD 2 sitting in a folder but I don't have an actual disk image. Can anyone think of a way around this problem? Can I make a CD image out of the files I have?

if you copy every single file from the CD (which you said you had on your computer) and burn it, then you shouldn't need anything else if it's exactly the same. you shouldn't need an ISO

I was trying to work out a way of doing it without using a CD since hard drive images are faster. Doesn't look like an option unfortunately.

Download fs2_open. Much better than the original in my opinion.

I copied most of the files onto a CD-RW (it only has 550 Meg capacity so I left off the movie files). Freespace 2 doesn't accept it as a valid CD. I think it's because the label is different. Can anyone tell me the correct label for the second CD?

If you have all the files, and you use fs2_open you don't need the CD.

Ok, but where can I download fs2_open from? It's homepage appears to be here : http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/fsscp/ but the files link doesn't have anything to download.
