Weapon Forgery, Gems and Morbazan (Summoner II)

How do you use all the Soul consumption skills? I am level ten with the skill but I cannot use all of the spells under that category. Also some of them in the spell cast menu are green with a number in brackets next to them, does this mean how many times that skill can be used? I had a one next to haste and used it and then I could not cast haste again, how do I get this back up.? Apparently if you use different soul consumption spells you get different souls or something allowing you to forge different gems. When i try to forge a gem I can only forge very weak ones, I am sure I have loads of souls, at least enough to forge the gem I desire but I am unable to, can anyone explain this? Also is there a way of seeing how many souls you have and what type they are (if there are different types)? Finally how do you get level ten gems?

I'll try to answer as much as I can - I'm not an expert on souls yet, but this is what I do know...

To use the skills under Soul Consume, you have to actually have some souls stocked. You get different types of souls from different monsters - for instance, a Hopiris Wolf has a Haste/Yellow soul, so when you consume a soul from one of them, you get another 'point' next to the Haste skill under Soul Consume. Every time you use the skill (by casting Haste on yourself in this case) you have to use a soul up. If you can't use Haste, it's because you have no Yellow souls stocked. If you can't use Inferno, it's because you have no Orange souls stocked, etc...

So the souls you have accumulated can be turned into gems at a rate of 10 souls per level. If you want to get to 100 of a certain soul type (which you need to do to make level 10 gems), you should stop using the skills up in battle and concentrate on consumption. I've started a partial list of which monsters give what soul types, if you want it. I don't have all the areas fully listed yet, but it can behelpful if you're looking for aparticular type of soul.

Here's the gem & soul color associated with each skill.
Souls = color: Redemption = white, Soul Search = green, Vitalize = red, Haste = yellow, Soul Transfer = black, Inferno = orange, Omen = cyan, Urath Prayer = blue, Beguile = purple
So you need to consume a Yellow soul to get Haste points, and you need 10 Hastes for every level of Yellow gem you want to create. If you have twenty Hastes stocked, you can create a level 2 Yellow gem.

Hope this helps!

You consume souls.

Whenever an enemy is below half HP, hit triangle to consume!

I did this ALL the time. =)

Diff enemies are diff spells

Can have 99 max of each.

Rock Spider = Redemption/White

Tower of the Ancient Ones Monsters:

Tamirath Citadel Monsters:

Maby you should create a walkthrough/faq on Morbazan, Gems and Souls once you complete your list, i'm sure it would help alot of people
One last question; once you complete the game is it possible to go back and finish off side quests and return to places etc?
