Differences between PS2 and GC versions of Summoner "2"

Has Volition posted any information explaining the differences between the PS2 and GC versions of this game?

I own all 3 consoles and have been holding off for the GC version as it appeared that it would be superior.

Is there any information about what is different?

I think that they will both be the same, I don't think they would change it for the GC, I am unsure whether there is a difference between summoner 1 on the PS2 and summoner 1 on the PC, if there is it is more likely there will be a difference between the GC and PS2 versions of Summoner II. I own both consoles aswell but couldn't be bothered to wait for the GC release.....If there is a difference, I will most probably wish I had waited. It would be excellent if there was a multiplayer co-op mode.

Does anyone else think it is really, really lame of Volition not to tell us what the differences are?

It makes me think they are trying to scam people into buying two copies of the exact same game.

I really think they have a duty to their customers to be honest about what exactly the two games are like, what the differences are (if any), etc.

Furthermore, when I go to the store tomorrow to buy the GC version of Summoner A Goddess Reborn, if there is no strat guide for it I would like to know in advance if buying the PS2 strat guide is worth it or is that going to have inconsistencies.

Volition isn't doing the port. Cranky Pants Games is doing it, along with the GameCube port of Red Faction II.

I just dont understand why Volition is so silent, never telling his fans what is coming out and so. Letting them sadly haunting the net in the quest of seeking informations.

They really idiot not pushing their products.

Btw they also stupid not putting online feature on the second game of a serie when there was one in the first one.

Cranky Pants Games is just another subsidiary of THQ.

They are all part of the same development house, so there is no excuse for there not being better communication and better information for the customers.

You are right on both counts.

The Summoner games are AWESOME. They deserve far more publicity and sales. The problem is THQ/Volition don't do JACK SQUAT for marketing and their customer support and feedback is almost non existent. They are shooting themselves in the foot. I hate to see it happening b/c they make marvellous games .
