What by Goerge am I refering to? I am refering to none other then Volition.. And the company making rf2 .. Im not even gonna say the name. but it is an outrage!
I mean sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry... Ha!
I for one will go out of my way not to purchase the sad game of rf2 .. might even put up a anti rf2 site.. and picket the stores that sell making sure to tell everybody it sucks!

That is the word from vett for today... thank you and .. good day

Why are you mad at Volition? We aren't making this game, and we didn't make this decision.

Posted by Rictor on 01-27-2003 09:33 PM:

dont like it, go away.

dont troll, if you dont like the game, either be nice about it or dont post on the RF communtiy boards.

like todd said, it wasnt their decision. So you're blaming the wrong people. If however, you would like to blame THQ, I can see some truth in that..

ok ok ok ..
so booo thq.. sheesh.. all the same as far as I am concerned...
So tod.. tell me is it true then that there is no multi for pc?
Cause I have not as of yet been able to verify that this is true.. and gamespy has two stories.. one the interview with donavon and the other on the rf2 page it clearly states that their will be multi for pc

Weird. None of us are getting tired of THQ. So.. we're going to go.. nowhere.

Posted by Bobboau on 01-30-2003 05:01 PM:

I would certanly get tird of them, there has been a major loss in quality ever sence you joined up with them, I have seen nothing but sub average work, befor THQ you developed Geo Mod, after nothing else of note was added to the game, the first two titles that were totaly under the THQ banner, were a PS2 only and a half assed port that totaly disgraces you,
I know you guys can do better

I dunno. Every game we've put out under THQ has received good reviews, and been generally accepted as good games. If that's supposed to disgrace me, I may as well go work for Derek Smart.

Posted by ZylonBane on 01-30-2003 11:49 PM:

Before THQ, V made games that were fantastic. Now they make games that are "good enough".

As you well know.

What makes me laugh. The people who bought the First version of Red Faction either hated it or luved it. The people who hated it will surely stay away from the sequal. So Whats left with the sequal. The people who stuck to the first Red Faction. 90% of the reason is due to its muliplayer. Ok so its appeal was lost due to lack of updates and patches to fix the many bugs. So we hear they were porting a PC version. The people who stuck to Red Faction jump for joy, even people who originally left Red Faction for the lack of updates and patches have slowley started to come back. Then we hear the news of no multiplayer support.

Well in all I feel whoevers choice it was to skip on the most obvious thing to include in a pc fps game especially in 2003 that it be THQ or Outrage, is well plain braindead.

Oh well suppose Red Faction had to come to an end sometime.

This must be like the most stoopid business decision in history.... Like Fury said, the only ppl caring about RF2 is the mp-community. even with the lack of support and patches, ppl continue to play online, even build patches and software for server management on their own... It would have been so easy to get something really good going with mp in RF2...

So now what? Switch to UT2003??

Posted by FURYweb on 02-01-2003 02:21 PM:

UT2k3 had the gfx but damn it bored the **** out of me. The weapons are boring. I like machine guns.

I only wish that [V] woulda stuck there seal of approval on 1.3 since after all this time and i have yet to see a real m0dd3r... but n0w i see about 1 server and 3 ppl playing at most
