-- NTV: Emergence RELEASED! (http://volitionwatch.papageorgefamily/vwbb/showthread.php?threadid=8024)

NTV: Emergence RELEASED!

We've been talking about it for months, promising and promising, but it's finally here!

Download the NTV Demo!!!

NTV: Emergence is the demo campaign for Neo Terra Victorious which is slated for release...eventually. Anyway, Emergence is an entirely independednt Minicampaign, six missions long and charting the beginnings of Admiral Boschs rebellion in Polaris.

That's right - Entirely Independednt. No grabbing missions from NTV and quickly shoving them into a small VP - every mission has been made exclusvely for the demo - You're on a different ship, in a different period of time, and you're ready to kill yourself some zogs.

Have fun .

Seems pretty cool, but it would be ALOT better with speech......Derelict and Warzone would have been ALOT better as well if they had full speech.

About Deralict: I'm still confused. I have the version where some missions have voices, but I get feedback that there's a full one that has all voices???

I confuse!

the one that i have is the final and it has NO speech what so ever.

It would be easier because with speech you won't need to read the convos going on as you dodge beam cannons and such.....you know what i mean???

Until they bring out BWO, the main FreeSpace 2 Campaign is the best because of the speech.

Why people, boast about voices? Do your own ones if your that unhappy

I personally can live fine without voices, since I always find in mids of battle to read them, but in other and I have played FS2 (and FS1) quite long time.

Or use F4... I still find voice better... its like having to type in the middle of a game to give orders when its clear and fast through voice... multitasking

Sadly, NTV's never going to have voices - you run into too many familiar charachters - Bosch, Snipes, Koth, maybe even Petrach - there's no way we'd get good enough impersonators, and changing the voices, particularly Bosch and Petrachs, would be just wrong IMO.
