Do you some some HTML-program (like Frontpage, Dreamweaver MX) or do you do it with notepad?

Still I agree with Fetty, I hate sites with some stupid and iritating music on them, some are good, but most is crap.

I think you can't loop sounds, but you can set the repeat to 999. Hrrm....try adding repeat="True" to that embed code and see what happens.

And some design rules Edwin. Never never use dark text on a dark background color. That text should be white or light grey or a light shade of white-blue. Otherwise nobody can read it...and no, monitor brightness does not play a role in that. Its bad design. But alas...your still new at it and keep working away! Just some advice from someone whos had this stuff beat into him over the years

Edwin, know this-- When web pages start playing music without being asked, a very large percentage of web surfers will have an immediate urge to wring the page author's neck.

And putting the music in the form of a massive WAV file only makes them want to squeeze harder.

PS-- And if you're going to needlessly translate AND attribute "Veni Vidi Vici", at least spell everything right.

Yes, you did. ea doesn't exist, as far as I can tell, as a combination in Latin. ae, on the other hand, is a diphthong, (that is, a single vowel sound though comprised of two vowels.)

Hence, Julius Caesar, and it's "I came" not "I cam."

And while you're at it, for crying out loud, General Discussion!
I think you've been reminded of that often enough...

I'd also like to agree with ZylonBane. Embedded sounds are the tool of the devil. First, I have them autoblocked with Proxomitron, second, they're one of the most heinous mistakes a web author can make short of the <blink> tag (which thankfully most modern browsers suppress). So how about we save you the trouble and say "just don't bother with it."

Sound...

No No No No No!

Sound is OK on a Flash / Rich Media site, but NEVER on flat HTML, it just winds people up and reduces the odds of people actually reading content.

By all means have a bit of sound interactivity (say and event that triggers an audicon over a button or such like.)
