How to beat the god with the Eye in S2?

Hi all,

I'm pretty STUCK in S2 in the level where you have to hit the big eye to shut down the force field of the boss. I just have a few seconds before the eyes open again (and so is the shield surrounding the boss). My party is hopeless against him even when Maia is in Summon form. They are taking cheap shot at him and it hardly scratch him.

What kind of skills do I need to acquire to beat him? I'm afraid I can't up my party levels anymore if I don't have the right skills!!

sounds like u need to level ur party up a little bit what level is maia?

use whirlwind on the boss it goes through the shield, then run heal, and try again

Maia is aroung level 16 or 17..the rest is about the same I think.

At what level do I need to fight this boss? I'm about to give up on this game already!

make sure you have ressurect in your party or revive. then have the fastest partymember take out the eye. I use maya the eye will go down in a second. make sure you dont have ench any elemental on your partymembers, I found that some bosses or enemies are near to immune to elements so you wont do much damage. I think spells work pretty good on him, I dont remember.

this boss isnt too hard, just have patience. in the whole game the hardest boss I found was in the beginning when you fight krobelus. the rest is all peanuts

I killed that guy in 3 hits...

I had the Midnight Halberd on Taugris..

I let my team fight him while I took Taugris to the eye

Went offensive stance before last eye hit to close it

Ran over and did the combo (Square, Square, Square)

And he was dead =/ Maybe I got lucky, dunno.. but I decimated him pretty bad..

You should try it =)
