Fs2 SciFi Sim of the Year Ed.

I might be able to get this game within the next 2 or 3 months, I was curious what are all the extras that come with it? (are there secret videos too like with the silent threat CD? )
I found I downloaded some FS2 files, and I'm not sure where it is that I got them (they're maps), yet I know that the SF Sim of the Year Ed. comes with a bunch of extra maps, would these most likely be on there?
one of the maps is called Mara Run, and the other one seems to be a FRED related package... I think it was a fix of something I can't remember, anyhoo, I was just hoping I don't actually need to bother with these files!

oh and I was also curious if it's the current version too?

Mara Run is a released multi game mission a year back.

Dunno what might be in there. Other "special" editions with other games have stuff like comic books (or other books), free software, and whatever else.

What I'd like to know is: is this an attempt to revive sales or the community by the corporate weenies (and are they, with even the SLIGHTEST chance, HINTING at something)?????????????????????

I WANT SECRET CLIPS/VIDEOS!!!!

Apparently it contains some single player mission's accesable from the Tech Room (the missions themselves are fan made and can be found at the Volition Watch Archieves - when they come back up). Also the Templar campaign is now also single player and the the patch to 1.2 is also included.

I think that's it.

Operation Templar? I've never heard of this before, who made that, and what's it about?
