Can't get Summoner to work on XP

I just bought Summoner but can't get it to work on XP pro, get a message saying something about glide dll. Is there a way around this?

Why would it need Glide DLL?

Whats your system specs? What video card? Which version of the drivers?

I've got Summoner to work on my XP machine.

My specs are Celeron 850. 650 meg ram, Assus 7100 geForce 2 mx 400 vid card, Technogarb NVidia 29.17 drivers. I have a great many games and never had this problem before, it's got me baffled. Actually come to think of it I think I had this problem with Quake, not sure, lol
