Summoner 2 on PC?

Any news on if Summoner 2 is going to be ported to the PC? My apologies if this has already been covered...

Posted by Clave on 11-17-2002 11:50 AM:

It has been, but never mind.

There are no plans for a PC version at the moment (as far as I know)

I started playing the PS2 version, then I bought LOTR The Two Towers, so S2 is on the shelf for the forseeable future.....

what is "two towers" like...is it an RPG or an adventure, i heard it was fun as hell

It's awesome, hack and slash button bashing, but with excellent graphics and fairly good following of the story. Gameplay is a bit like Devil May Cry, and cutscenes are taken straight from the film.

The best bit so far is Fangorn Forest , where you are walking through a river and suddenly all the orcs leap up from under the water....scared the c**p out of me the first time.

Anyway I recorded a small clip to give you an idea, I'll post the link in a minute

Sorry it's so small but, had to keep file size down.....

so is it a very long game, is it taking you a long time in other words.

Posted by Clave on 12-11-2002 11:01 AM:

Not long, I just don't have much time, not played any games for a while....

As far as we know, no PC version has been announced. There is a GameCube version in the works however. That works for me

Almost January and no announcements heard, so I'm doubting it for a long while.

Bring it on the PC!!!

I got Summoner 1 on PC and it rocked...although I got PS2 for Xmas there is no way I'm spending money on that...thing.
I would say a modern PC would handle Summoner 2 better as I heard that PS2 had trouble getting over 30 fps(?).
Tis not a fair would for PC users.

I am going to buy the GC version, but I am also holding out hope they will port the GC version to the PC.

I LOVED Summoner 1 on the PC. The multiplayer alone made it worth it.

Summoner 1 is definitely one of my top 10 favorite CRPGS of all time.
