-- Corrupted text... (http://volitionwatch.papageorgefamily/vwbb/showthread.php?threadid=7684)
Corrupted text...
Can't seem to find any existing documentation on this. I have had corrupted text ever since switching from the old Voodoo5 a few years back... Currently running 9700 Pro. Models look great but menu and cockpit text is garbbled. Please help.
Thanx in advance,
BurnZ

Hey,
try activating the "alternate pixel center" option in Rage3D Tweak, or such tool. Did the job for me (tho i have a 8500).

Yes I have the 120 patch installed. I enabled the Alternate Pixel Center and it did help quite a bit but it's funny how now there are lines around the text just like the help for the tweak says it will fix
It's playable but not as sharp as it should be.
Thanx....still open for more ideas....

One of the source code guys fixed that problem for the GF4. Maybe that would help...not really ready in a nice consumable package at the moment.

Just figured something out.....It's the AA that is causing it. If it's all the way off then everthing is perfect. Damn.
