Red Faction Watch: VW Staff Reviews Red Faction PS2
Posted by Remora:
Try not to explode with joy as you read what Chucker, ivan, Orange, and I have to say about our experiences with Red Faction! We reviewed based on Storyline, Gameplay, Sounds, Visuals, and Controls, and then gave our overall experience with the game.

Ok. I'll post a comment.
What I found interesting is that throughout the review, Chucker, Orange, and Remora basically agreed with each-other and said how the game was good, but then ivan was very pessimistic, mentioning only what was poor (which seemed to be about everything according to him
), but then when the "overall" paragraphs came around, everyone was positive. I guess ivan's just harsh (though we knew that already from the news postings
).
See, I was really rushed to get my review out. I was actually the one holding everything up because I hadn't finished the game, so once I finished it, I had to just crank out the review quickly. As such, I only bothered to jot down the first things that came to mind, and I also didn't want to just repeat what the other dudes were saying.
I did like the game in the end. While I thought it certainly could have been better, I didn't think there were many aspects where it absolutely should have been better.
