What do you do with weapon molds?

I noticed i get these weapon molds, is there somewhere ican take them to get the weapons that they would produce, are these ultimate weapons?

Weapon Molds Info

Throughout the game, you find molds for different weaponry, and four types of mud. The weapon molds and mud can be used in the Foundry at Paludal's Bridge to make weapons. Iari gems are equiped with the weapon to give it its power ups. I suggest that you choose Morbazan to be included in your party for this level because he has the ability to make gems at the same location.

ultimate... don't think so...

I made a crossbow at the foundry and I don't know why, but it sucked horribly. I am glad to know that this is the place you use the mud (because I have a ton of mud and didn't realize they were used here), but I haven't gone back there because of the piece of crap crossbow I was stuck with, then sold for a measly 12 GP or something... Maybe the other weapons are better or they depend on the gem used with them...
