Question transformation is not original

im gonna buy the game, because i loved summoner 1.
but like my title says, transformation is an old concept, thats why summoning was so cool.

And they've had 'summoners' since Final Fantasy 4 at least... Back in the old SNES days.. Or heck old Gold Box DnD games had you could summon a monster as a pet. Heck old First edition DnD had summoned monsters.

Not trying to pick an arguement but the concept of being 'original' these days is a bit hard to reach when there's so much stuff you can refrence from the past. There are still original stuff out there, but it's far and few between.

Summoner is fun though.

the concept is fresh though for summoner 2, i mean that you actually become the summoned

The main character in Final Fantasy 6 gained a tallent mid way in the game to moprh into a esper(Summoned creature) to gain additional powers.

And that's the first refrence off the top of my head I could think of.
