According to FGN (shrug), Interplay, former publisher of Volition is now for sale. It remains to be seen to who they are being sold to, although the article does mention Microsoft as not being a surprise. Read it here.

I seem to remember reading somewhere the Virgin Interactive were buying all Interplay's assets.

Maybe this couyld be the right time for V to aquire the rights to FS?
