First look at Twisted Infinities mods.

Well, here you go. Your first glimpse at the mods we'll be using in Twisted Infinities. These two are only a start, we have several more ready to be shown, and even more planned, but if I gave them all to you at once, it might be hazardous to your mental health or something. Anyway...

This was VAs first attempt at Painting textures onto a UV map, so we're quite proud of him.

This was my first attempt at painting a texture onto a UV map. We aren't quite so proud of me any more. I do icons, interface, FRED, mission scripting, story work...but I won't be texturing again after they all see this . (Don't worry though, hopefully someone will repaint it for us before the campaign gets released.)

More to come soon hopefully. Watch this space!

You aint seen nothing yet. BTW Alikchi, if you could convince Woomeister (I think) to reUVmap the Augeas, I could do it better (and better than the Aztec too, I swear )

Anyway, more Pics!

The Tyr classlight interceptor. The primary fighter of the pirates operating out of Epsilon Pegasi, but also used by mercs, company pilos, etc. etc. It is set up to be player flyable, but only will be in special circumstances.

A Pirate Strike bomber, currently unnamed, designed to take down the subsystems of freighters and small capships - in other words, it won't be packing very heavy bombs. Currently not player flyable, but when I'm bored I'll probably end up churning out the necessary icons and suchlike to make it flyable .

BTW, Serge and VAs Proteus will be player flyable, in fact we have to have several misions based around flying this thing, when you recieve it. 'Twill be very sweet .

Anyway, I have two more pics to post, but lets just hold off on them for a little while shall we? Wouldn't want to spontaneously ignite your headz...

If you want to bug us, try it here. The TI public forum is small (our private forum is the busiest on the board), but you will get the attention of the staff, who do all this nice work.

Whee! I'm probably going to get in trouble for this but hey...

It's by Flipside. It's a F***ing massive freighter. It owns.

What do you mean exactly? If you mean where did I find them, and where are they now, well, the entire TI team is made up of old F2Sers, including VA and Flipside (our two modellers). But both of them post on HLP under the same names, just not as prolifically as some other members. The whole team can be contacted through the link above (to our forum).

If you mean why haven't we shown any more pictures, well, VAs had exams, but he has two more mods just about ready to be shown, and while Flipside has been making some very nice models, we just haven't shown most of them. However, we have just posted another set of pictures of Flipsides latest work - the GTWP Excalibur Mk II - on the TI public forum, but I promised Tolwyn that we'd post most of our stuff there, so you'll have to go there to see them (p1mpage for you Tolwyn ). I strongly suggest you do - you'll be impressed

It could be made a bit more Vasudan with Horus-style textures..those are a little blocky, and don't you think that if their gas miners are works of art, their luxury liners would be masterpieces?

But the style is perfect. Just perfect

BW, i think you phrased that just a bit wrong
the yacht is terran, it's a private ship for the super rich, not a vasudan luxury lin......hey there's an idea
i've got the as-of-yet-untextured terran one, but a vasudan one would also be sweet. good idea
edit: oh, and the light textures around the pod thing are messed up in the pic. oops
and to give appropriate credit, the textures are from jk2 very good quality ones too.
