Cool R2/R3/R4/R5 ... Hmm... Enough!

First of all, I'm kind of a noob here, so I wanna say I really appreciete the work the Mod Team is doing, it is really cool, and I really enjoy release 1.

My question is - when are the releases expected?

Thank you for your reply,
Gambit

About release 2 - When it's done
About release 3 - When it's done
About release 4 - When it's done
About release 5 - When it's done

There is simple logic in these words

Score another point for ApaBaBooN

Right now, we're working on the Omega, Warlock, and Asimov. Then we'll be pretty much finished. CptWhite's busy exploring other areas of his life, Tomcat is away on holidays at the moment, and everyone else is getting back into the routine of school life.

Sorry...we're just people too.

I wouldn't guess that, since you work so hard

Certainly a one shadow... that's for sure. Or actually there are at least two shadows. They were on our team but no one knows where they have disappeared. Or was it just one... hmm, my mind is no longer the same what it used to be...

That's not the answer I've expected. Can't you give a time estimate or something? You know... these kinds of answers are usually given by the worst Game Developers (Freelancer, Duke Nukem Forever, Doom III, Team Fortress II), try to avoid those answers.

No, it's foolish to give ETAs when you can't keep them.
It's always better to say "When it's done". The game (or in this case, a release) will be released when it's ready.

We have learned this ETA lesson in the past, but game publishers haven't. They have money in their minds.

This is not avoiding the answer, this IS the answer. We could say, for example October 15th. But if we can't release it then, many fans will be disappointed. All releases will be released when they are done, no sooner nor later.

But I can say a roughly estimate for you: between now and 12 months. Is that enough?

Edit: It is more than enough if fans have a feeling if next release is looming behind "the next door" or if it will take much longer time.

Personally, I have a lot of exams coming, I can't work on missions or other tbp stuff that much.
