I was there...

A lil poem i wrote BEFORE sept.11 but it has NOTHING to do with it. This was all fs and fs2 related but i have been told this can also be used for the terrorist attack. I wrote this during my times in the 79th Tango Squadron. If any of you have read the 79th's lil fan fic i wrote the too:P (a lil pimping of my own). Well without further ado here it is..any feedback is welcome...


I Was There

I was there when the Demons came to consume us
I was there when we had new friends
I was there when the Demons were pushed back
I was there…

I was there through the torment and anguish
I was there when your back was against the wall
I was there when we were about to fall
I was there…

I was there when that sun died
I was there when millions of people cried
I was there with the heroes we lost
I was there when we remembered the cost
I was there…

I was there when you didn’t make it back home
I was there, but not all alone
I was there sad and proud
I was there when we knew we won
I was there.


Dedicated to Hawk, and many others who I can’t name specifically because I would need about 20 pages to write them (you know who you are). I love you all, and thanks for the support and inspiration you have given me.

Its a beaut...I read it at HLP. Recently I've been having trouble actually saying anything directly related to 9/11...its one of those things you don't want to remember every day but still find it burned into your memory.

Thanks Ice, im sorry to keep bringing Sept 11 back around, but like i said that was just coincidence(sp?) i wrote this in math class about 6 months before the tradegy happened. oh btw i did pass the amth class too:P:P im glad u like it though. peace bro
