Few small things to trouble you...

I am thinking that you must add some sort of navbuoy in release 2. Some sort of computer generated thingy for marking patrol waypoints, hyperspace beacon routes and stuff. It would prove to be very useful.
And I can think of many uses for a some sort of a small satellite. (spystellite, comm satellite, scanner, distress beacon, etc...)(And I find the idea of blasting helpless satellites in to pieces strangely pleasing)
And last but definitely the least, a small blob thingy with a turret. (Place it far away, put planet background there and we have a ground battery. Like the great machine in youknowhere slicing those aliens who had that cool ship that could split in three or four parts...) In FreeSpace we had sentryguns doing this. So I think we need something to replace them.

But ofcourse these things have already been taken care of... Foolish me thinking that the great Vorlons of TBP would forget things like these...

I have suggested all of the above so often that I have lost count.

I am sure we will have everything in order, it's either R2 or R2 patch where you will get rest of the "misc" objects. (Unless it's strictly Centauri, Narn or design of other race that is not included with R2)

There will be "Nav Beacon" in the next release.
Most likely there will be an "universal" satellite in R2 patch as well. And by "universal" I mean it will be used by everyone, a standard EA design of sort.

R3 might bring one or two satellites more, don't know yet.

Yep. I did not mention G.O.D because it is not "misc" stuff, it's purely EA weapons platform. A darn impressive one.
