That's ridiculous. A limit like that on games is no better than a total ban on sport of any kind. There would be an outrage if, say, football was banned in any European country, so why games?

The Greek government don`t like people gambling online. They wrote a law to prevent people from doing it. That was it. They didn`t enforce the law much, they just put it on the books.

Strangely enough this unenforced law had very little effect on online gaming. So the government decided that something needed to be done. Now while a sane man would have suggested enforcing the law in some way the greek goverment came up with a better idea. If you can`t play anything that looks like a game without being arrested you can`t gamble online.

Personally I`m suprised they didn`t go the whole hog and just ban the internet completely.

Damn...why don't they just ban eating, sleeping, breathing, living, working...just ban it all. That will solve so many problems...it will be illegal for people to get hungry...then we can send the food other places.

Ok...tad on the rediculous side. What kind of responsible government would take such a knee jerk reaction? The birthplace of Democracy and they can't even figure out how to pass a law.
