FreeSpace: Temporal Mechanics Demo
Posted by Orange:
GriffonUK and our very own l33t newsie, Chucker have finally released a demo of their campaign, Temporal Mechanics. They have been working on this for over 4 months according GriffonUK on the VBB, and have we got a treat for you.. an interview with Chucker himself!!! First though, I better mention they don't want their campaign mirrored without permission, you have to e-mail GriffonUK. About the interview, everyone already knows about the storyline (time-travel) so I thought I'd ask cooler questions than the average interview asks. Here goes:
Me: On the l33t scale, what would you rate your campaign?
Chucker: Does the term 'infinity' mean anything to you?
Me: Does your campaign feature any MODs?
Chuckmeister: It will have ship and weapon MODs, but the demo does not need them. Count on seeing some awesome stuff in the full release of TM. Maybe music MODs too.
Me: What kindof new 'ships' will we be seeing? Will there be any hella-fast vans?
Chuck-o-rama: Unfortunately not. The hella fast van would wipe out all the competition, and that wouldn't be any fun would it? I believe Dark has modeled a new warship for us so far, and some of the FS1 ships will also be featured.
Me: Will we see any of the most l33t ship of all? (The GTF Valkyrie for those of you who are unl33t and don't know that)
The Chuckster: The Valkyrie was my favorite FS1 ship, and I'll make sure it gets in there one way or another. [ed. note: Hell yeah!]
Me: Thanks for the cool questions, this news post is becoming too long now.. I must end it. You heard him everyone, go download it! Now!
