Hi,

I have tried all the Nvidia Drivers, leaked and offical, but i am still getting the bad text.

Jagged text and they seem to be out of alignment.

you know what i mean?

It does this with FSAA on or off.

It looks even worse with it on. lol

I am having a feeling i am going to have to put this game on the shelf and let it gather dust.

At first i thought it was the game going bad, but others have reported it as well, with FreeSpace 2 and other games aswell.

Including FreeSpace 2, CounterStrike, X-Wing Alliance.....i have tested these games with my card and they all have the bad text.

Can someone help me???

I know someone made a patch for GeForce 4 and FreeSpace 2 that is supposed to be in with the Source Code release. But its not really ready yet (crashes and stuf).

this is a known bug caused bu antialaising take it off and it works good =)

well, the FSAA is off.

it is totally ****e with it on......

But the jagged text is annoying, hopefully Nvidia can find the solution and release a driver or tell the developers of the games in question to make a minor bugfix.

Is maybee the system platform, it happend to me with GTA 3, with windows XP Prfessional the best detail that showed the game it was so ugly my monitor broke, but when i changed to Win Me, it look better, and that happend to me with FS2 , but was some symbols that had the texts. And it could be memory too. This may depens on memory, game programming or system platform, i know that XP is not very friendly with GForce 4, because i have one.

You're also wrong about GF4s and windows XP. I also can't believe you said you swapped from XP to Me.

GF4s are new hardware. XP is the newest OS. It logically follows, and I've got evidence to prove it, that GF4s and XP play along with each other just fine.

Oh. using GTA3 as an example is so wrong. GTA3 PC was one of the sloppiest ports I've seen in some time. Ick.

Sorry dude. You must've had a bad configuration.
