yes, I know we haven't "met" ... that's cuz I usually don't get into scuffles unless it needs to be solved.

as for the email system, I know about it, slightly borked ... our personal emails work fine most of the time, but sh!t happens, eh?

the registration system DOES work when it's not operator error, get my drift?

at this point I find it meaningless and demeaning to my character ...( and that of VW) to take this to private e mails.. unless you agree that I can post them after we are done in order to rectify any thing that might be misunderstood or left unsolved at this point. I am not the one who discussed my personal behavoiur etc. in public.

I've said it before, and I'll say it one last time ... nobody really cares. it happened, it's over, move on. no need to dwell on something, especially since you already took your lumps ... all you have to do is abide by the rules, and nothing bad will ever happen.

as for your character -- the longer you dwell on it, the more damage you're going to do it ... basically, you're just making an ass of yourself. let it go.

If this is how you wish it to be.. this is how it will be. and no I dont mean that Im done. too bad actually.. I wrote a very convincing arguement hoped that it would simply get someone to say, " hey your right, I see your point..sorry, we will try better" nope .. nothing close to or remotly like that.

Im still waiing for an apology in my e mail. and have as of yet not recieved it.

first of all hi vettinit :-) You are a nice person and i like ya.. Now unfortunately I did not get to read the post, So i can not comment on its contents. Now on to what I think from the side lines....

From my perception, I see a bunch of judges trying to solve a problem by not offering any solution but trying to forget and move on. While that is valid and mostly wise advice the majority of the time, it is not always the solution to the problem. Sometimes in America we are able to be judged by our peers. While all of us may not be in America, many justice systems are similar. If you had let the post continue, maybe his peers would have solved the problem by offering him good advice. If it got out of hand, a explanation of the situation with no kind of sarcasm could have moved/closed the topic.

This situation reminds me of arguing with my teenage daughter, you get no where by doing it. Simply by not responding ( not deleting her ) lol the problem wears itself out. While this does not always work, the majority of the time things cool down and rational discussion begins. Since I know vett is not a trouble maker, I assume there was a misunderstanding that led to both sides even acting in this manner. Should either side say sorry? don't know, should we have to? should have even gotten this far.

If I was a customer in a business ( this is a business ) I would never expect to get treated with such sarcasm that I have seen. However, a simple explanation of my error and end of discussion would close it out. Yes I may leave the business whining and complaining ( notice I never use S***, F***. a mod should never either it causes conflict to intensify) eventually I get over it and either never go back or edge my way back in little by little.

From what I see here, you never get to leave the store. A person comes in does a wrong thing and that's that..Some people go away and come back until they see it again and then they get made again because the same thing is happening to another person. In management training, you are told if you make a rule and everyone is constantly breaking it is either too harsh or administered wrong. When you 20 good students out of 25 in a simple class fail a test, you may have prepared it wrong. Just because a law is on the books doesn't mean it is right. Some places in the north it is illegal to walk one foot on the sidewalk and the other in the road. While ignorant to be doing it in the first place..Should a cop come and harass you about it and say it is? probably not.

So who is wrong here? don't know, don't care. All I know is BOTH sides are way over the line and probably misinterpreted the situation wrong in the first place. Remember text on a screen can be perceived many ways and that should be taken into account. Another thing to have 10 mods or whatever hassling one individual is a little mentally overwhelming, I wouldn't want you guys negotiating my release if I was a hostage lol..

So, we are back is sorry the answer probably not. However a simple admission that things have gotten out of control by BOTH sides and not "just forgotten and get on with it" would simply and easily solve the problem. To argue like children simply makes every one appear as such. To a person who drops in here and there ( me ) is a bit too much for one day lol..

Again stepping to the side, If hostility was initiated by the accused, I have not read nor seen his post. I see how is acting here, and how the mods are replying. If you take a person totally out of the situation and let them read the posts, the mods don't look to good. That's what I have done. I am sorry to post in such a manner, but for reading only this post and another, it looks to me like maybe people should have some anger management.

Could things have been handled better here? I think so by both sides. However, from the side line, it looks like the individual made more chances for a calm solution then the judges did. would his peers have judged him the same? a simple email ( phone call? ) no one knows. But i know one thing..Why is this not in the general discussion section. What does this have to do with RF...You know whats great about posts, you never actually know who the person is posting. I could be a punk, theif, gov official, vagrant, or even the silent partner in a company. Am I any of them maybe not. But the whole point here, is for both sides to step back take a breath and solve it easliy with out sexual comments S*** or F*** or anything of the sort. NO excuses for nothing just be cool about it. This board is open to the public, 5 yrs olds 10 yr olds and on. If I had a board that any kind of this stuff or lang was appearing on, you would ALL be written up, and depending on vetts action, temination of privileges. What you do here effects the lives a kids and others. Your actions should be more discreet... BREATH lol

This situation between Vett and VW is starting to annoy me, I have much better things to do then watch you two berate each other. I come to this board for intellectual disscussion, and maybe with Vixtran here I can finally get it on a regular basis.

If you guys still want to have a group disscussion with each other please do it over email. Make a yahoo group, or just addy it to everyone, etc.

Vett, VW, please don't waste everyone's time here when this should have been handled (whatever it is) off-board in the first place. (I think) As I said, I don't care what started this or what it's about, we (the people of VWBB) don't need or want to see personal arguments on here, it wastes time and turns us off of our online experiance.
