There's a rolling demo in the downloads section which just blew me away. Wow.

You know a few years ago something like this would've been pretty amazing for a prerendered cinematic, let alone something done realtime, let alone something done real time for a strategy game. Anyone wanna make a B5 mod for it when it's out ? :>

I'd seen IG3 around before, and for some reason it didn't impress me anywhere near as much. Seems to be further along in development, for sure, but really, combat in it looks like you're watching the voodoo lights screensaver circa 1997. At least it does to me.

OTOH, in haegemonia, the detail on the big rounded space station, the field of hundreds of asteroids that's rendered throughout the battle, the gigantic explosion with little sparkly streams of debris flying out at the end ... I thought that was pretty impressive. Sure everything's wobbly and doesn't seem to quite work right just yet, but just looking at what's being thrown on screen I think it's miles ahead. Hope the game's fun at least :>

Anyhow, not that I mean to play the horrible 'this game that isn't out yet is going to be miles better than this other game that isn't out yet' BB game..

dude play the IG3 demo at MAX details then ull know what explodions REALLY look like =)
