In one of the last briefings somebody said (Command? Petrach?): "...the allied fleet is pulverized...". Or something like that. What does that means? ALL the remnants of the ENTIRE Galactic Terran Vasudan Allied Navy was in Capella and Epsilon Pegasi and Vega?!
Where are the ships builded? The Colossus was builded in the space. What about the spacecrafts?

Capital ships are built in space, often in orbital drydocks. Fighters could be built anywhere from the hangars of capitalships, stations, to planet-based factories.

Petrach said something about the fleet being in shambles, he was refering to the 3rd fleet, which was based in Capella and pretty much was destroyed. Other fleets also participated in the battles against the Shivans and the NTF, and casualties climbed rather quickly if the command brieifings are any indicator.

5th fleet IIRC - the Aquitane was the head. Pulverized means badly damaged, not wiped out, IMO.

And you'd have to build the bigh ships in orbit, I think, because it'd be hard to get them into space upon completion... smaller stuff like fighters or transports mighy be grounmd built if they're atmoshpere capable.
