Babylon 5 RPG

Are you a fan of RPG's?

Are you a fan of Babylon 5 or Crusade?

Why not check out this site:

http://www.latenightgames.com/zion3/index.php

One of the best Babylon 5/Crusade RPGs around.

This game is based loosly upon the Babylon 5 universe. It is after the "Great Burn", over 700 years have passed since the events of the Babylon 5 series and the Alliance has fallen on dark times. Many colonies, like the Zion colony, have lost their connection to the central government. It has been 300 years since anyone has heard from the Alliance and the citizens of Zion have assembled a team and the first intersteller spacecraft in 200 years to seek out the Alliance and reconnect to them.

You choose what character you want to play, Human, Mimbari, Narn, Centauri, Drazi, Brakiri, Pak'ma'ra, Abbai, or Vreen. You are free to make your character with alliances and motivations as you see fit. This game is a collective which means no restrictive GM!!!

Currently Season One is just preparing to launch so take this opportunity to come visit us, read the background material so far, chat to some of the players, and get ideas for a character of your own!

Zion 3 is just one of a group of games that is being developed by Late Night Games - totally free to you. Check out their web page:

Any questions? Any problems? Please write a reply here…

Sorry for the Spamishness

But I was looking for communities of gamers who might be looking for a B5 game that was not so combat oriented as Freespace.

While Freespace is a great game its really doesn't capture the other part of B5 that really made me interested in watching it which was the great interaction between the characters, and the intricate plots and sub-plots (within subplots even!).

If any of you players are interested in visiting LateNightGames.com and checking us out, please leave a message so we know you came!

Thanks for the time!

I suppose that the combat is a big factor, and I am somewhat stimied as to how to have it simulated in a forum-based interactive fiction like Zion3. Shor of writing the whole thing out in "long hand"

Obviously there aren't enough rules to do a true gaming experience. So for the action-oriented players it's kind of tame.

Thanks for the 'kind' words about the ad. I promise, I'll just post the one. But I will continue to reply to comments to keep it fresh
