Why do women INSIST on having friends that are male and could be considered competition to you? And why do they get pissed off when you start having friends that are female to counter the effect?

I think its selfish need to continue to be able to exert their influence on males...but meanwhile, hold the double standard that their 'chosen male' shouldn't do the same.

Its a double standard...and they get away with it. Maybe we LET them get away with it too.

Male 1: Because women are the spawn of the devil.
Male 2: I honestly don't know. Don't let it bother you I guess.
Male 3: Gender is not an issue when it comes to friends - u choose personality, not what dangles (or not) between the legs.
Female 1: I haven't a clue.

Some of these people take life more seriously than others.

Women who are secure with themselves have no problem with their man being friends with other women. You just won't find many women under the age of 35 that are that secure.
