Galaxies are much more broad, and have less thickness. Nebulas have more of a spheric struture with a central star (or a cluster of stars).

I'd say this is more like a radio wave image of a pulsar or a quasar. But since this is visible light, I'd probably say something celestially new.

Hmmm... from the point of view, and the brightness, it does look like gas. It might be a galaxy, but there are no distinct stars visible, only a BLOB of lighted yellow. Most definatley a nebula.

However, I'm confused as how a nebula isnt globular?? This is almost flat??
