After glancing over this review thorougly, I have still been unable to determine if this review is for the PS2 or PC version. I would assume they reviewed the PC version since it was most recent released, but on the site, the same review is listed for both the PC and PS2 version. Plus, I didn't see anything in it about multiplayer, so who's to know? Well, maybe this quote I grabbed will help me determine:

Summoner is a rare game that I would happily pay full price for. While it will cause you to purchase a memory card for the PS2 if you don’t already have one, the hours of enjoyable game play that the game provides will more then make up for the cash expenditure. Its not a perfect game by any means, and definitely hasn’t replaced Might and Magic in my heart, but its nice to see a console RPG that is this good and was not made by Squaresoft.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to go with him reviewing the PS2 version. That's kind of a surprise too as the review was just released yesterday. Oh.. Summoner got 9 out of 10 "Keys" on the site. Check it out!
