it only works in the tech room for some reason, but maybe one of the smarter programer types here can figure out why

in case you can't tell what that is, I've sort of implemented glow points, wich will be most usefull on Omegas and any other model that has very promenent glow points

This really is great news. Is there any hope that we'll see his in the next release? (considering that release 2 propably comes next summer , it shouldn't be impossible to implement this stuff by then)

didnt we found this to be possible a while ago? We even were to not let the public know untill they see our cap ships lit up like christmas trees...

No....we had a hack and slash version of lights with small little polys attached and a blinking thrusterani (because none of our ships have thruster ani's).

These are real bitmap lights. Much cooler and more flexible.
