Music....
Will there be any new Music for BWO? Some "Adagio for Strings" type music will be great, in my opinion
(really adds to the atmosphere to the game, as original FS2 music wasn't really that good
)

Erm, I personally think that the music for FreeSpace 2 was some of the best music ever to grace a PC game. It fits the action, sends the adrenaline pumping, and actually has an artistic value.

Adagio for Strings would be great, but depends on how practical it is for building the right type of atmosphere in the game. Certainly, it would be good in some situations, but when ambushed by waves of bombers trying to kill you're destroyer, something to get the blood pumping would be needed. Just my opinion. Also, i didnt think FS2 music was that bad. I'll go shut up now

hehe, your pummeling down on a destroyer and you suddenly hear classical music
that is pretty funny,...okay i get ur point
Where i think Adagio for strings fit in best though?-
You jump out of subspace and see Earth, for the first time in your life, in the background...that would fit in quite nicely...

If we do music, it pretty much has to be from "somone" and im more interested in finding that person to do music for a new project rather than this one.

Adagio or Agnus Dei would be good to start playing when a big cap goes down when its really important to the plot. Christopher Frankes the B5 music guy does this well using classical influences to enforce the image at hand, it just has such an effect on the audiotory senses that it enhances the whole experience.
Even if there would be new music, then it would probably be new composed sequences, not music that is ripped from a CD.

Hmm... I'm thinking maybe some nice Telemann flute sonatas, or maybe some of Debussy's orchestral work.

I say, the 1812 Overture for the beginning of a grand battle
Or Wagner's Ride of the Valkeries

Hehe, Ride of the Valkyries, that would be perfect for an Intercept mission =P
