Bonehead maneuver

How are you going to create something like that?
Will you use a jumpgate riged like the Meson Bomb or will you do a MAJOR re-write of the source code?

You know, so many people want so amny different source code changes that if you implement them all you will create a Bablyon 5 game totaly seperate from Freespace.

It's actually dead easy to carry out now with sexps. All you say is that if two jump points are formed on top of each other then all ships within a certain readius take a certain amount of damage. If you want a detailed breakdown of which ships take what damage then you just need to be more detailed with the sexps.

Done it without Sexps (or little use of it) and with Sexps

easiest way will be just to have one ship warp in and leave without an effect within 1 second, and a second one warp in using the other jump ani and self distruct. Set up another sexp for the jump gate just in case they survive so that they detonate when the second ship is destroyed.
