Ok, (this is what i think)RF didnt get much profits the first few weeks because they didnt advertise very much. But didnt RF get more popular after it was on the sehlf for several months after? Well, people liked the game a lot and hoped for a sequel. Then RF2 comes out for PS2, and people were like 'YES, IT FINALLY CAME OUT!'. Dont u think Volition or THQ would make more profits if they made it for PC?

Nope...they sold a huge number of PS2 copies and only got a mediocre showing.

I've been saying for ages that the only thing that'd make me prefer a PC version of RF2 over the PS2 version was if [V] were to leave out USB support on the PS2. Now that USB support has been confirmed I'm not going to wait for a PC version after the PS2 version has been released when all a PC version would deliver is simple graphical improvements, multiplayer and mod support (*yawn*).

Making games for the PC means that users expect more support from the developers. People make unrealistic demands.
Besides, the PC FPS market is already dominated by other games. RF1 didn't get that many PC sales, and there isn't much guarantee of RF2 making a lot of profit, what with the converion and publishing costs.

I would like a PC verion though... I don't have a PS2.

I don't think THQ would really want to attempt that.

Exclamation

PC=Complications
Such as: low memory, graphics card, sound card and so on.
I like the PS2 because when you buy a game you know exacaly what you are geting (so no nasty surprises) and now that there is a keboard and mouse option its even beter. And for those people that like to cut corners with addons there is the action replay.
