Contacting Volition

How can we talk to the developers, on the old VBB they used to chat and answer our questions and we could give them ideas, do they have an email address I can send them ideas to?

Can one of the moderators suggest that maybe some of the rf2 developers use the board like they used vbb.

They do on occasion....not so much in the RF or Summoner areas at the moment. I may drop them a line about that.

hehehehehe here we go
dont try it .. dont bother you will end up pulling hair out in frustration and throwing pc against wall while smashiing it with your bare fists.
the vbbs end started with the beginning of ideas like the one you just had.

Don't worry, we got your email Ahmed. Emailing webmaster@volition-inc.com is sufficient.

thanks for the acknowledgement Todd, are you part of the development team? have they all seen it?

I have thousands of ideas, I think you should have polls and through ideas at us and see what the gamers think. Im sure that would make a better game.

Ever heard of "too many cooks spoil the broth"? There is wisdom in that statment.

Some feedback is ALYWAYS good, but too much is ALWAYS bad

Icefire you are correct, but you must remember we are not making the game, but suggesting ideas for it. If we all through ideas at Volition they should pick the popular ones and new/original good ideas.

Obviously they are making the game so they pick what goes in, but I dont think you can have "too many ideas" about how the game should be.

I have an idea, just one in fact:

RF2 FOR PC!!! DAMMIT!!!

kIllmaster ..thats a good idea!!
and can i ask a age old question that still has me baffeled?
seems to me like( not complaining ) that here at volition watch the people from volition and rf etc. actually pay attention and respond to posts etc. etc.
up until i came here i didnt even know that they existed cause i was at the vbb.. if ya pust a post there to any volition anything you would never in a million years have gotten an answer...strange that is since it was their forum..
sorry to bring up a old sore point

TODD

Todd, what do you think of my ideas, and also, when can you start telling us about new features, and why dont you give us a vid of what you showed at E3, not all of us are fortunate enough to be there, after all there are many loyal fans here, and its not like your releasing new materal, loads of ppl saw it at e3, so please let us have a look, thanks.

Posted by Alphakiller on 05-31-2002 06:04 AM:

Uh, if you want info on RF2 at E3, either click the two IGN links I just posted on the RFW mainpage, or go search through the other gaming news sites like Blues, Gamespot, et cetera. I'll be doing that tomorrow and getting more links up, I hope.

Yer I tried looking, gamespot wanted me to pay, IGN only had the trailer, and gamesradar hasnt got to e3 yet. I dont want info, i have that, i just wanted the video of the 3 level office level that was being played.

Why cant they just make one?

Posted by Alphakiller on 05-31-2002 05:45 PM:

because they're busy developing the game, maybe?

Developers make the game. Reporters (or in this case, gaming news sites) report on it. Now, obviously, companies release materials (the trailers, screenshots, etc) however I think that's much more THQ's domain than it is Volition's.

well my point really is, they spend time making a booth and preparing for e3, when most of there fans cannot get there, it would make sense to at least reocrd a demo of the game build at e3, which one take less than 10 minutes. I dont know who should do it, V or THQ, i just think that it should be done.

Well, you can hope in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills up first.

You have been Regulated. Goodbye.
