VW Main: Outrage & THQ: Alter Echo

According to a press release today, Outrage has become a THQ internal development studio and will be releasing a new game called Alter Echo. Here's a bit of a description:
Alter Echo" is an innovative action game that lets players morph between three combat modes and alter time with pioneering TimeDilation(TM) technology. A revolutionary PostFX(TM) camera system intensifies the action with spectacular visual effects that heighten the drama of every combo and special attack. "Alter Echo" is scheduled for release on the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox(TM) video game system from Microsoft in early 2003.
Sounds really cool!

Outrage is Volition's sister company that were once a single company under the name of Parallax Studios.

Sounds a bit dodgy....smacks of Max Payne in the 'special cameras' and time alteration. Still, if they pull it off well.....

(just wish it was something more original sounding)
