Question Extracting resources?

Hey, just a quick question. Is there a way ot extract the FS and FS2 resources from the hog(that what they called?) files? I'd like to extract some of the sound files you see. I have seen some of them around in music files and plus themes.

You mean .VP files, I believe. Check out VPView, and try opening warble_fs2.vp with it

WMCoolmon is 100% correct. They're WAV files, IIRC, so if you want them in, say, MP3, might I reccomend LAME?

Thanks guys.

BTW, are all of the voices in the stu vp? I was looking for one of command's little quips.

Yes. In stu_fs2:
briefing: Sound files from the briefings
Command_briefings Sound files from the Command briefing (the ones that tell about new ships and news from elsewhere)
debriefing: Sound files from the debriefings
Personas: Standard voice files for the wingmen (ie "Take evasive action, pilot!")
Special: Sound files from in-mission
