LOL

I've been hearing some great things about it so far. My attempts at locating a friend with Satellite and Sci-Fi have failed so I will have to wait.

I hear the musical theme is familar tho.

The SCI-FI website has some new pictures on it.

Skip to it right here: http://www.scifi.com/b5rangers/gallery/images/index.html

But this is most interesting:
http://www.scifi.com/b5rangers/gallery/images/pics.html?img/image02.jpg

Alot of people are thinking those are BlueStars. That has yet to be confirmed and perhaps a higher resolution image will reveal all.

Just finished, loved the guy with all of the grenades in the pod with the tape that said 'boom' on it. Great movie, and I do like the brick with an engine. It looks kinda like an art-deco omega with wings. Hope you guys mod the little ship (lysandra I think)

********spoiler warning******

what can I say?

if we take out the part where the gunner is yelling and taking out mines, it would have been good. It was good, though its just like an apetizer for the main course. So we have to wait for 'the 'hand' I wanted to see the hand.

The valen was ugly, even for an earth ship, but it blew up
the Lilandra was a cool ship... Minbari weapon systems suck

They got their ass kicked by Raiders! the lowliest threat! RAIDERS!!!! geez. I recorded it on SP, an so tape finished before it ended. Recording at SLP this time, as it runs again at 11:00.

I want the Liandri's fire-control system. It'd be quite entertaining to have such a hookup for gaming.

hey...the valen was a kickass ship, I liked the valen. Did you see how many raders there were!?! They had already been damaged and about 20 zephyrs came at them, and started launching bombs, you see?

Too bad it would be hard to put the snowflakes of death into FS2 because of the animation.

I loved the revamped b5 shot at the end, that is one beautiful model.

The gunner yelling and taking out the mines was weird...

oh, and shadowboy, that would be fun

U liked the Valen? oh well...

from this movie, it looks like there's a lot of minbari ships we havent seen

I cant imagine anyone thinking of shadows as insects tho...and if they were so strong, how could the ISA possibly oppose them?

I also wanna know ships sizes and how relatively strong they are compared to ships we alrdy know about.

I know the Victory class was made after this... so we know the excaliber is faster/tougher than these ships

on minbar, I also saw whitestars flying by and Minbari fighters floating backwards

I think SARAH CANTRELL was the only bad part about the movie.

are you sure the victory was made after this? Oh...nm...otherwise the guy couldn't have been from earth...

It could be after all of that tho...or I'm completely missing the point...

What is so wrong with the valen?

lol on that last point londo

g'kar was funny as usual

Victory was made 5 years after 2262 (last season) which would mean 2267

this movie takes place in 2264

yes, G'Kar was good, and I think the main guy Dylan had good acting too.

ah, I did not know about the time table. The lyssandra can't be a bluestar (to state the obvious), but it would still be a nice ship. Could that targeting system be emulated by putting the turret in the center of the ship? I think you would need two turrets, one for up, and one for down. The new subspace effect will be easy to reproduce in fs2 as a nebula, the new animation....lets just stick with the current one...

geeze, look at me, already thinking of the technicalitys

anyone notice that they used the same jumpoint for both entering and exiting hypersapce?

You people at TBP should use that jumpoint for the game so you dont havce to worry about poeple commenting on if you can use one .ani for entering and one for exiting.

yeah, but that jump ani was too 3d for it to work properly. The Lyssandra could be modded into Iwar 2 really well as a ship, it being a corvette type ship and all....

i oculda sworn the ship was called the liandra...but then again, i've been known to be bad with names. As for that gunner lady, she really made the movie look stupid with her little yelling and shooting the mines

I guess it's interesting to see all the new Minbari ships, but I wish there had been more of the familiar ones going around. Plus, there are some things about the Liandra (I can't believe how many different spellings it's getting) that just don't seem very Minbari.

Posted by LAMBO on 01-20-2002 08:20 AM:

Whee!

I'm guessing there's 3 new ships that might squeeze their way into the mod(i'd like to see those alien ships with some rotating sections to mimic the effect, wish i could mod).

Overall it was good, but i really don't like the way every space show has to focus just on the crew of ship X. I liked the way B5 had many different plotlines going at the same time. I did like the fact that there was a good amount of space combat, considering there weren't any big battles.
