bluestar?

Two questions about the Bluestar, 1, will it be in the next release, and 2, will it be pilotable. If it isn't known yet, then ignore me.

It will probably not be in the next release. It will most definately be player flyable.

Cool. What kind of weapons will it have, or has that been decided yet?

I think that giving it two od those whitestar pulse guns would be nice. Then it would have one helluva firepower for a fighter.

Thats the plan.

Not really....its about 30 meters long I think. Maybe a bit less.

Its a personal WhiteStar. Its fighter, courier, and scout all in one.

I'm wondering... what kind of destroyers they have in Ranger fleet? Possibly Victory class with similar bioarmor like on WS and BS... and if tech allows... non-existant power reloading after Victory fires it's main gun.

Oh well... I think we can't never find this one out...

Yes, but it's significantly larger than a nial, or 'fury. But then again, it does create its own jump points.

Ranger's don't neccessarily need destroyers. Something like a Destroyer really doesn't lend itself to sneaking around does it?

They aren't a conventional military, don't think conventionally!

The Victory Class Destroyer was never designed to be fitted with bioarmour. There is nothing to say that the Rangers didn't develop another destroyer class ship by 'Sleeping in Light' with better power systems and armour

The film of LotR takes place late in the year 2265. The first VCD was commissioned in 2268 as seen in 'A Call to Arms'. The Blue Star isn't commissioned until after Crusade at the earliest.

Not necessarily. It could have been created any time after B5 ended. Using it in the ISA vs. Telepaths campaign sounds like a good idea.

Actually it was designed to be fitted with Bio-Armor, the only reason the Excalibur and Victory were berefit is due to the need for service immediately and the subsequent destruction of the construction area at the hands of the Drakh, making it impossible to grow the armor for the ships in a reasonable time period.

heh if the excalibur was fitted with bio-armor it would be unbeatable cause the crisatlline armor deflected 80% of the enrgy shot at it the bio-armor wouldnt even let that through and since organisms need a little energy to grow 1 shot armor stronger 2 shot stronger and so on as i said unbeatable

BlueStar is more like personal transport / fighter.
We haven't seen it in action, but we have assumed that it's missing the main beam gun, and perhaps has little less powerful pulse guns.

Also, Vorlon propulsion system is also gone, it is unknown how much Vorlon propulsion system effected WhiteStar's speed and maneuverability.

A fast, strong, well armed fighter is basically what were talking about. Cream of the crop.

I don't believe that the Victory class destroyers were meant to have bio-armour. Check out the following link:
